In addition to our costs there are expenses paid out on behalf of the client. These include such items as fees payable to the crematorium, cemetery, church, clergy and doctors, floral tributes, catering, and newspaper notices. The cost of these will be approximately £1,362.00 depending on what you choose.

It is different to a traditional funeral as there is no funeral service and you will not be able to attend the crematorium. Direct cremation costs £1,850.00 including the cremation fee.

• Visiting the person in our Chapel of Rest.
• Choice of when the cremation will take place.
• Mourners are not able to attend the crematorium.
Simple Funeral:
Our simple funeral provides a quality service at a fair cost with the comfort of knowing that we will provide our usual professional levels of care and service.
There will however be no choice of day and time of the funeral service taking place. The cost of the Simple Funeral is £1,600 plus disbursements.
What’s included:
• Provision of all professional services including advice, support and guidance, arrangements made by telephone during normal office hours.
• Removal of the deceased into our care within a 10-mile radius including care and preparation.
• Provision of a simple wood effect coffin fully lined and fitted for cremation.
• Transport to the cemetery/crematorium in a hearse with bearers.
• Hearse to meet family at the cemetery/crematorium.
• Service at the graveside or in the crematorium.
• Collection and return of cremated remains if required. The above cost does not include hygienic treatment.

At a date and time you agree with the funeral director, taking the deceased person direct to the agreed cemetery or crematorium (normally within 20 miles of the funeral director’s premises) in a hearse or other appropriate vehicle. £475.00

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
(1) This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
(2) In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
