"I recently found myself in the position of having to arrange our father's funeral. I rang a couple of funeral directors before I spoke to Sylvia. I knew as soon as I spoke to her that she was the lady to look after dad. Sylvia was so kind and it was like great weight had been lifted from my shoulders at this sad time. Sylvia was always there for any questions and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of dad's funeral, Sylvia and her team ensured everything went without a hitch. The family particularly liked that Sylvia had remembered that dad enjoyed his walks in Wibsey Park and she stopped the funeral cars momentarily as we passed the park, such attention to detail. We flew in from the states for mums funeral and met with Sylvia, she was very helpful and understanding to all our needs. I was leaving the UK 5 days after the funeral and wished to scatter part of my mums ashes in the dales (she loved this place) and the remainder to be brought back to the states. 20 hours after the funeral Sylvia called to say the ashes, cherished memories book (this was done beautifully) and certificate to take the ashes out of the country were ready for pick up.The whole team went above and beyond, including Pastor Malcolm Neale who did a beautiful job of mums celebration of life.
